Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited invites an experienced Stores Manager to oversee receipt and issuance of materials to the shop floor, maintain orderly stores, and ensure materials are available to meet production targets, while upholding 5S and safety standards.

You will lead a team of 7–8 contract staff, coordinate with production planning, perform regular cycle counts, and utilize SAP/WMS and MS Office to record transactions and drive inventory accuracy across the site in Maharashtra.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering Diploma required.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Stores Management with daily material handling.
• Good working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Warehouse Management software.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and issuing material to shop floor in kits as per production plan.
• Update daily material transactions in SAP/WMS software.
• Coordinate production & production planning team for effective material feeding.
• Take physical inventory as per predefined cycle.
• Maintain stores/warehouse locations in place.
• Ensure inventory availability to meet production targets.
• Handle rejection from line and communicate with stakeholders.
• Manage a team of 7-8 contract employees.
• Maintain orderliness, 5S, safety standards in store operations.
• Implement best working practices within the function.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You'll be responsible for receipt and issuing material to shop floor in kits as per production plan.
• You'll Update daily material transactions in SAP/WMS software.

• You’ll be responsible for handling a team of 7- 8 contract employees.
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining Orderliness, Cleanliness, 5S, Safety Standards while doing Store operations.
• You’ll be responsible for implementing the best working practices within your function.
