Olectra Greentech is seeking a Steering System Design professional at Deputy Manager/Manager level to lead the development of steering solutions for EV and ICE commercial vehicles at the Seetharampur/Hyderabad facility.

The role emphasizes CAD modeling in CATIA V5, PLM data management, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust steering architectures and validated components.

Qualifications

• Requires B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in steering system design for commercial vehicles.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and PLM tools.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop steering systems for EV/ICE commercial vehicles (Hydraulic, EHPS, EPS).
• Define steering system architecture, linkages, and component selection.
• Perform steering system sizing and supplier component integration.
• Develop and manage 3D models and assemblies using CATIA.
