Job summary

HONASCO PLASTIC TECH PVT. LTD, IMT MANESAR in Gurgaon invites a Manager or Sr. Manager (HOD) to lead engineering design and development for automotive plastic products.

Seeking 12-15 years of experience in 2D/3D design, GD&T, mold flow, FEA, and cross-functional leadership; role reports to Business Head in Engineering (Design & Development).

Qualifications

• Automotive product design with 2D/3D proficiency.
• Experience in plastic product design and assembly considerations.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
• Experience with Mold Flow and FEA simulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automotive plastic components.
• Collaborate with Tier1/OEMs and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Apply DFMEA/PFMEA/DRBFM and track design status with stakeholders.
• Oversee tooling and mold development for plastic parts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY UNIT: GURGAON / IMT Manesar DESIGNATION:

Manager or Sr. Manager (HOD)

WORK EXPERIENCE: 12 - 15 Yrs

REPORTS TO: Business Head

DEPARTMENT: Engineering (Design & Development)

CTC: xxxx - xxxx Lac

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Automotive Product Design: Expertise in 2D/3D design software Unigraphics NX.
2. Hands-on experience on Automotive Plastic Product Design knowledge (Concept Design, Kinematics Product design, Advance Surface design & Assembly) for providing the recommendations.
3. 2D Drawing preparation: Sound in tolerance stack up and GD&T.
4. Mold Flow Simulation using Nx or Autodesk Mold Flow Advisor.
5. FEA Simulation: Design optimization from Simulation results.
6. Prototyping: Knowledge of rapid proto-typing tools, 3D printing, wire cutting and Machining (CNC, VMC & Conventional).
7. Manufacturing Process: Knowledge of Manufacturing processes such as plastic Molding, Machining, sheet metal, Casting, Winding and Welding.
8. Tooling Development: Knowledge of different stages of Plastic Injection Mold development & leading the CFT for complete mold development from Tool rooms/ Tool makers.
9. Experience in Reverse engineering / Bench Marking techniques of Mechatronics products, Value Engineering proposals with feasibility & cost saving initiatives.
10. Understanding of Global Automotive System awareness (IATF 16949).
11. Deep knowledge about DFMEA, PFMEA, DRBFM and FTA tools. Attending to customer meetings (Tier 1/ OEMs) & updating them about the complete project status during the design & development phase.
12. Knowledge of general automotive documentation PFD, CP, Product specifications, Validation plan.
13. Knowledge about EV Sub-systems and their functionalities such as Battery management system, Motor-Inverter system, Charging management system would be added advantage.

Experience:

• 12+ years in Design, Development and Testing of Kinematic / mechatronics products in Automobile industry.
• Core competency in Nx (Part modelling, Surfacing, Drafting & Assembly).
• Experience in PLM / SAP / CATIA / CAE & CFD will be added advantage.
