Job summary

International Design & Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Pune invites experienced Civil/Structural engineers to join the WAST Team for steel structure design, detailing and engineering on international projects.

The role requires sound knowledge of Indian and US codes, proficiency in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD, plus strong problem solving, attention to detail and coordination with drafters and clients. 6–8 years in similar profile preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/ B.Tech. Civil or higher with 6–8 years in steel structure design.
• Experience with residential, commercial and industrial structures.
• Knowledge of US and Indian codes; familiarity with international projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of residential, commercial and industrial structures.
• Conceptualization, design and documentation of engineering design.
• Coordination with drafter, detailing of structures and guidance to trainees.
• Check jobs thoroughly to deliver error-free work to clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of different residential, commercial and Industrial structures.
• Design and analysis of different structures as per US and Indian Codes.
• Conceptualization, Design and documentation of engineering design, Solve problems of medium complexity.
• Effective coordination with drafter, Detailing of structures, guidance to Trainee Engineer.
• Sound technical knowledge, thorough knowledge of all related codes and section details, In-depth and detailed checking of jobs before delivering.
• Technical problem solver, Minimum conceptualization time for complex drawings and solution to project engineer.
• Ensure delivery of error free job to Client
• Ensure necessary details provided on drawings per requirement,
• Effective drafting of queries and reply to Client.
• Ensure all production standards and QA members at all stagesQC tools have been followed by all team

Requirements

• Knowledge in Design of Different Structures of Steel / CFS would be preferred.
• Sound technical knowledge, thorough knowledge of all related codes and section details is desired.
• Thorough Knowledge of Design of Components of Residential / Commercial Structures is Desired.
• Technical Problem Solver Should Take Minimum Conceptualization time for Complex Drawings and should be Able to Provide Solution to Project engineer.
• Accuracy In Following The Process & Jobs Is Required.
• Should Be Proficient In Using Computer Software.
• Knowledge Of STAAD-Pro, AutoCAD And Other Structural Engineering Software Will Be Preferred.
• Experience in Interaction with International Client Will Be Preferred

Work Experience and Educational Requirements

Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Designing Structural steel and cold form Steel structures.

1) BE/ B.Tech. Civil/ ME Civil / ME(Structures) / M.Tech. (Civil)

2) Experience -6-8 Years in same profile
