Job summary

Sunbrilo Technology is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with 10+ years of steel structure design in iron and steel making facilities, including blast furnace and BOF complexes. Proficiency in STAAD Pro and knowledge of IS/European/American codes is essential.

The role involves developing STAAD models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing estimations, tender documents, and ensuring compliance with design standards.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of structural design principles, fabrication drawing, and connection design.
• Experience with IS codes; knowledge of European/American/ British codes.
• Proficiency in STAADPro and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and design of various technological structures of ironmaking (special Blast furnace).
• Develop structural arrangement based on Mechanical GA.
• Develop the STAAD model and analyze and design of structure.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to meet project schedules and requirements.
• Developing connection design and detail of steel structures.
• Preparation of estimation, Specification, tender document, BOQ, QAP, and support proposal team.
• Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and various IS (must have) /European/American/ British codes.
• Attending meetings with Internal and external customers.
• Engaging outsourcing partners and co-ordination with them.
• Communication skills in English, and Hindi both Verbal and written.

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Structural Design Engineer with expertise in the Design and Engineering of Blast furnace complexes, BOF complexes, Material handling structures, and other Metallurgical projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in structural design, specifically in steel structure (Iron making and Steel making) using the software STAAD pro and having overall knowledge about steel plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis and design of various technological structures of ironmaking (special Blast furnace), including Industrial sheds, Material handling units, and Chimneys.
• Develop structural arrangement based on Mechanical GA.
• Develop the STAAD model and analyze and design of structure.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to meet project schedules and requirements.
• Developing connection design and detail of steel structures.
• Preparation of estimation, Specification, tender document, BOQ, QAP, and support proposal team.
• Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and various IS (must have) /European/American/ British codes.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Design & Engineering in the Steel Industry preferably in BF complex.
• Proven ability to work independently under time constraints and adapt to diverse working environments.
