Job summary

Haryana Knowledge Corporation seeks a senior MIS professional to lead design, development and management of MIS for large-scale social development initiatives in Haryana. Qualifications

• Post-Graduation in CS/IT or MCA from a reputed university with 1st division preferred.
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in IT including MIS design, development and management for large-scale social development.
• Experience in project management and networking.
• Experience in MIS database documentation and MIS Office proficiency; Govt. sector experience is a plus.
• Excellent English & Hindi communication, drafting notes, letters and reports.
• Knowledge of Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission objectives and related programs (DDU-GKY, RSETI, DAY-NRLM).
• Expert hands-on in MIS tools and in mobile/app & web portals; understanding of MIS objectives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress of projects at monthly/quarterly/annual levels and generate reports for client.
• Draft notes, official letters and proposals related to designated scope.
• Update systems to stay current with SRLM requirements; train staff to use reporting systems.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and compile data for planning and budgeting.
• Attend State/National workshops, webinars, and meetings as directed by client.
• Manage a district-level team across Haryana; support State Program Managers of other domains.
• Take on other assignments as directed by client.

Job description

A. Required Education Qualification -

• Post-Graduation-M. Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology/ M.Sc (Computer Science or IT)/ M Sc. (IT and Computer Applications)/ MCA from reputed university preferably with 1st Division.

B. Experience Required-

• Minimum 7+ (Seven) years' post qualification experience in Information technology field including Experience in design and development and management of MIS for large scale social development/livelihoods preferably on regular basis is required. Experience in Project Management and Networking.

• Experience documentation in and maintaining of MIS data base and proficiency in MIS-Office. Work experience in Govt. sector will be an added advantage.

C. Key Roles & Responsibilities-

• Candidate shall be self-motivated to look into progress of projects at monthly/quarter/annual level to generate reports against the assigned projects and activities by the client.

• Drafting of notes, official letters and proposals based on skill set essentially desired and scope of designation under umbrella of Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission.

• Update systems to keep current with SRLM's requirements, train staff and cadres to use reporting systems, monitor practical usage.

• Ensure timely submission of reports, compile data relevant to planning and budgeting.

• Attend State/National level workshops/ webinars/ meetings etc. as and when directed by client.

• Team management at district level across Haryana.

• Support State Program Managers of other domains.

• Other assignments as per directions of client.

D. Skills Required-

• Excellent English & Hindi Communication Skills radiating well-versed with the knowledge and self-learning attitude towards adopting government work environment (Drafting of notes, letters, reports, presentations).

• Practical knowledge of MS Office, E-mail. Knowledge of objectives of Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission.

• Expert hands-on in Mobile App & Wen Portal, MIS Management, Understanding of objectives of Haryana State Rural Livelihoods (DDU-GKY, RSETI, DAY-NRLM).

• Practical skills in SQL/MYSQL/PostgreSQL-Advanced queries, Joins, Stored Procedures, MS Excel Advanced (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Macros), Google Sheets, Python/R for data analysis (desirable), Data cleaning, validation, de-duplication, Al tools.
