Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a stamping process design engineer for our Chennai office. The role involves creating forming simulations for closures and trim panels, developing die faces with CAD/AUTOFORM, and preparing stamping tool processes.

You will assess feasibility, propose product changes based on analysis, and ensure designs meet global standards. The candidate will deliver feasibility reports for India and overseas projects, define process requirements, and drive engineering changes using CAD tools

Qualifications

• Experience in stamping process design and feasibility reporting.
• Proficiency with forming simulations for closures and trim panels.
• CAD/AUTOFORM skills required for die face development.

Role: Stamping Process Design

Job Location: Chennai

Mode of work: WFO

Experience: 3-9 Years

Required skills:

• Autoform -Forming simulations for the Closures and Trim Panels.
• Die Face Development using CAD/AUTOFORM softwares
• Process Preparation for the Stamping Tooling and check the total feasibilty of the parts
• Required to propose the product changes based on the analysis
• Required to decide the process requirements based on the product.
• Need to carryout the engineering changes feasibility using CAD
• Responsible for the delivery of the feasibility report for India & Overseas project
• Need to conform the feasibility based on the Global standard and benchmark systems
• Stamping Process Flow simulation based on the press line and SPM
