Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in India (Karnataka) is seeking a senior software engineer with 12+ years of Java/Python experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications. You will collaborate with product teams, lead complex cybersecurity software projects, and mentor a team of developers while driving adoption of best practices and modern tooling.

The role requires strong OO programming, cloud and containerization knowledge, and hands-on experience with CI/CD,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Java/Python and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with SQL and database systems, such as MySQL, MariaDB.
• Good knowledge of AI tools and agent integration experience.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD development lifecycle; hands‑on experience with GIT version control (GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab).
• Experience with Java build tools, such as Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience with testing frameworks and libraries, such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, IaC, SaaS environment concepts and queue‑based architecture.
