Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to support our telehealth/telemedicine project in Keonjhar, Odisha. The role involves providing basic nursing care, assisting doctors during teleconsultations, conducting preliminary patient assessments, maintaining medical records, and supporting smooth delivery of healthcare services at the project location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support and primary healthcare services to patients through the telehealth/telemedicine setup.
- Conduct basic patient assessments, including checking vital signs and preliminary health screening.
- Assist doctors and other medical professionals during teleconsultations.
- Coordinate with doctors regarding patient consultations, follow-ups, referrals, and further care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, medical documentation, registers, and daily reports.
- Handle basic emergency and first-aid situations and coordinate timely referrals whenever required.
- Support health awareness programs and community healthcare activities conducted under the project.
- Follow Apollo Telehealth protocols, SOPs, clinical processes, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with project teams, local healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth healthcare service delivery.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of basic medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional nursing standards.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Registration / Staff Nurse License is mandatory.
- Freshers can apply; candidates with Freshers up to 4 years of relevant experience are preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and healthcare teams.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain digital/medical records.
- Candidates who are comfortable working in a telehealth/telemedicine environment will be preferred.
