Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Semiconductor Product/Test Engineer to develop production test solutions for SoC devices and drive yield optimization using Advantest V93K SMT8 platforms. You will collaborate with Design and Product Engineering to implement robust test plans and automate testing using C++/Java.

You will perform AC/DC, mixed-signal and bench tests, analyze data with GR&R/CPK, and optimize test coverage, time, and quality.

Qualifications

• Develop and execute test plans for SoC devices in collaboration with Design and Product Engineering teams.
• Implement, debug, and release production test programs on Advantest V93K SMT8 ATE platforms.
• Perform AC/DC, mixed-signal, and bench testing to validate product functionality and performance.
• Analyze test data using statistical tools and methodologies (GR&R, CPK) to drive quality improvements.
• Optimize test coverage, yield, and test time to meet manufacturing objectives.
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and support yield improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product and test-related issues.
• Support load board design, review, debugging, and validation activities.
• Create and maintain test documentation throughout development and production phases.
• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using C++ and/or Java on the Advantest SMT8 platform.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• B'Tech/M'Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5 - 8 yrs years of experience in Semiconductor Product/Test Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93K SMT8 or similar ATE platforms.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor testing, characterization, and manufacturing test flows.
• Knowledge of yield analysis, statistical data evaluation and test optimization techniques.
• Experience with load board design, layout, and debug.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Java programming.
