Job summary

Nagarro is a Digital Product Engineering company hiring a senior ServiceNow engineer in India to join a scaling team. You will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions including GRC and Legal modules, integrating MID Server and REST/SOAP services.

You will work on architecture, configuration, and custom scoped applications, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions while upholding best practices, CI/CD, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Total experience of 5.5+ years.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow architecture, development, and implementation.
• Experience with GRC and Legal modules in ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer.
• Hands-on with MID Server, upgrades, troubleshooting and integrations.
• Experience with JavaScript, Glide, REST, SOAP, SRAPI, Import Set APIs.
• Experience delivering large-scale ServiceNow implementations in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, version control, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Total Experience - 5.5+ years
• Strong working experience with ServiceNow architecture, application development and implementation experience.
• Strong working experience in service now module GRC and Legal.
• Strong command of ServiceNow platform components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, etc.
• Solid knowledge in MID Server setup, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrations.
• Extensive experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Web Services (REST, SOAP), SRAPI, import set APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing custom scoped applications.
• Proven record of delivering large-scale ServiceNow implementations in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, CI/CD, unit testing.
• Ability to consult and influence on technical decisions and architectural best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in enterprise software development in ServiceNow-competitive application domains.
• Knowledge of SOA technologies including REST, SOAP, and integration techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing and reviewing great quality configuration.
• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
