Micron Technology invites a Senior/Staff Engineer to join the Scribe Layout Design group in Hyderabad. You will contribute to advanced technology development through scribe test structures, layout and database management, and design validation.

• BS degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• 6+ years in an engineering position.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience with EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso Layout and Schematic Editor, Calibre).
• Lead end‑to‑end design automation flow development with scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain EDA automation flows for DUT generation, layout creation, verification, and documentation.
• Design, implement, and enable PCELL‑based device layouts for CMOS modules.
• Automation on DUT layout generation, placement, and routing driven by electrical constraints.
• Use scripting languages (SKILL, Python, Perl, Tcl) for data processing, flow orchestration, and tool enhancement in Linux.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
• Experience with layout, design automation, CAD, EDA tools (Virtuoso EXL, GXL, Innovus).

Senior/Staff Engineer, Scribe Layout Design

As a Scribe Design Engineer you will work in the Research and Development (R&D) Scribe Design group where you will support advanced technology development through scribe test structure design and layout, scribe database management, and design validation. Your job functions include test structure design and layout, collaboration with various teams (Process Integration, Electrical Characterization, Device, Reliability, Design Rule, CAD), and assisting with parametric correlation and debug.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience and proficiency in EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso Layout and Schematic Editor, Calibre, etc.)
• Lead end‑to‑end design automation flow development, deploying innovative, scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain EDA automation flows covering DUT generation, layout creation, verification, and documentation.
• Design, implement, and enable PCELL‑based device layouts for CMOS modules to support rapid, parameter‑driven design.
• Automation on DUT layout generation, placement, and electrical constraint‑driven routing.
• Expertise in scripting languages (SKILL, Python, Perl, Tcl) for design automation data processing, flow orchestration, and EDA tool enhancement in Linux environments.
• Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven optimization, metrics analysis, and automation feedback, contributing to patents and technical publications.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global design, process, and automation teams in a fast‑paced R&D and manufacturing setting.
• Experience with layout, design automation, CAD, EDA tools (Virtuoso EXL, GXL, Innovus).
