Job summary

Rakuten Symphony in Bangalore is seeking a Staff Engineer, Networking to lead 24/7 operations for Cisco ACI and F5 LTM/DNS/ASM/AFM. You will perform setup, maintenance, upgrades and replacements while ensuring robust network reliability.

You will install, configure and maintain network hardware and software, prepare topology diagrams and SOPs, and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve connectivity issues. A strong ITIL mindset and hands-on troubleshooting are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with F5 Big-IP modules (LTM, DNS, ASM, AFM)
• Strong skills in network switching and routing
• Hands-on Cisco ACI experience (2–3 years) with operations focus

Responsibilities

• 24/7 Ops role in supporting and maintaining Cisco ACI/F5 Big-IP LTM/DNS/ASM/AFM, including setup, maintenance, upgrades and replacements
• Perform daily operational tasks submitted by customers through Service management tools
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, devices and appliances in support of infrastructure
• Prepare network topology diagrams, write SOPs, maintenance plans and provide status reports
• Troubleshoot network problems and coordinate with department admins to resolve connectivity issues
