Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network administration, design, and support.
• Certifications: CCNA (required) and IEEE 1588v2 expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support advanced network infrastructures including mobile backhaul/fronthaul for 4G/5G networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS XR and DZS C1216 series).
• Implement advanced routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPv6.
• Perform device hardening and vulnerability assessments for compliance and security.
• Build and maintain network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and YAML/JSON templates.
• Lead change management processes including software release coordination and documentation (MOP, RCA).

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our global IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting advanced networking solutions across multi-vendor environments with a focus on mobile network technologies (4G/5G), automation, cloud integration, and security. This role involves collaboration with telecom clients, managing high-performance network infrastructures, and delivering end-to-end solutions.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and support advanced network infrastructures including mobile backhaul/fronthaul for 4G/5G networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS XR and DZS C1216 series).
• Implement advanced routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPv6.
• Perform device hardening and vulnerability assessments for compliance and security.
• Build and maintain network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and YAML/JSON templates.
• Well versed with implementing IEEE 1588v2 along with SyncE for synchronization in 4G/5G networks.
• Oversee Zero Touch Provisioning and fault/performance management integration with OSS tools.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using tools such as Wireshark, Spirent, IXIA and Calnex.
• Lead change management processes including software release coordination and documentation (MOP, RCA).
• Manage customer-facing engagements and PoCs for new product introduction.
• Work and manage operational TT's for the relevant network elements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Certifications: CCNA (required), IEEE 1588v2 and Dasans STU expertise.
• 10+ years of experience in network administration, design, and support.
• Experience with firewalls: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint.
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, SSL, AnyConnect, DMVPN).
• Strong background in enterprise and service provider-grade environments.
• Fluent in English.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• International mindset with experience working in multicultural environments.
