Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG invites applications for a Staff Engineer Maintenance in our Manufacturing and Operations team. You will develop comprehensive maintenance programs to keep Die Bond and Oven equipment safe, available and cost-efficient, while leading maintenance technicians and coordinating TPM initiatives across production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Vocational training and/or a 4-year degree with subject-specific qualifications.
• Equivalent knowledge through training or experience is considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define comprehensive maintenance programs for all equipment including metrology devices.
• Lead Die Bond and Oven maintenance teams to execute unscheduled maintenance promptly.
• Manage maintenance costs to sustain optimal equipment performance.
• Oversee maintenance system, activities and personnel for Die Bond and Oven assembly equipment.
• Establish setup, conversion and troubleshooting guidelines for uptime.
• Investigate failures and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrences.
• Coordinate TPM activities and training for Die Bond and Oven equipment.
• Coordinate Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) activities.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop and define comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure all equipment, including metrology equipment, is safe to operate, highly available, reliable, and capable of delivering the required quality performance.
• Lead the Die Bond and Oven maintenance teams, including maintenance technicians, to execute unscheduled maintenance activities in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Manage Die Bond and Oven maintenance costs to sustain equipment at optimal performance levels.
• Manage the maintenance system, maintenance activities, and maintenance personnel for Die Bond and Oven assembly equipment to achieve optimal equipment efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Establish and enhance setup, conversion, and troubleshooting guidelines to ensure reliable equipment uptime.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement effective countermeasures to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Train the Die Bond and Oven technical team by defining competency models and ensuring follow-through of technical certification requirements.
• Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems and activities for Die Bond and Oven equipment within Production, including skill-level training, certification programs, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) activities.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Relevant vocational training (minimum 3 years) with extensive subject-specific additional qualifications.
• A relevant completed degree program of at least 4 years' duration with subject-specific additional qualifications, or a relevant completed degree.
• Equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through alternative qualifications, training, or experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
