The Manager of Non Cotton Procurement is responsible for overseeing the procurement operations within the WIL-PLANT, focusing on non-cotton materials. This role requires a strategic approach to managing procurement processes, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and manpower according to shift schedules. The manager will identify and address significant operational disruptions, such as warp and weft breaks, to maintain optimal production levels. A deep understanding of product knowledge, systems, and documentation is essential, alongside expertise in domestic trade. The role demands strong analytical skills to evaluate procurement strategies and make data-driven decisions. The manager will also foster business and commercial acumen, demonstrating excellence in people management and entrepreneurship. A global mindset is crucial to navigate the complexities of international procurement landscapes. The role involves close collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless operations and supplier relationship management.
