Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SRM ID (IPC) authoring professional to support Airbus programs in Bengaluru. The role requires hands-on work with Airbus tools and adherence to Airbus documentation standards, processes and change management, while mentoring junior colleagues and ensuring high-quality outputs.

You will interpret engineering drawings and specifications, conduct technical data analysis, and participate in RCA for rejections to drive improvements. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Good experience in SRM ID (IPC) Authoring for Airbus aircraft programs.
• Strong understanding of Airbus documentation standards, tools, and publication processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
• Experience in collecting source data and performing technical analysis.
• Strong understanding of engineering change management and impact analysis.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and revise SRM IDs (IPC) for Airbus programs.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus standards, tools, and processes.
• Work with listed Airbus tools (SAP PCS Module, SRM 3D Ident, ZAMIZ, Airbus Supply, AirNav, APS, PASS SSI, VPM).
• Perform impact analysis to align content with change requests.
• Guide and mentor Junior Authors and Junior Illustrators.
• Review work orders for quality and compliance.
• Develop and deliver knowledge-sharing and training sessions.
• Train newcomers on technical competency and processes.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for rejections and implement preventive actions.

• Well aware of Airbus standards, tools, and processes.
