Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced AMM authoring specialist to prepare, update, and validate Airbus Aircraft Maintenance Manual content for Airframe and Systems. You will work within Airbus standards, with responsibilities spanning interpretation of drawings, S1000D/iSpec 2200 concepts, and creation of technical content using dedicated Airbus tools.

Qualifications

• Analyze engineering inputs, Service Bulletins, design changes, and customer requests.
• Prepare and update AMM/TSM procedures, maintenance tasks, and related technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus documentation standards, ATA specifications, and project guidelines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, IPC, SRM, and source data.
• Create and maintain technical content using Airbus authoring tools.
• Incorporate review comments within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Program teams.
• Ensure Right First Time (RFT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) objectives.
• Perform self-quality checks before submission.

Your Role

Good experience in authoring AMM of Airbus programs SA/LR/MB/XWB.Must have worked on Airframe and Systems ATA chapters.Hands-on-experience on the Airbus tools - GIPSY GIDOCA, SAP, ZAMIZ, DACAS, PDMLink.Must have sound knowledge in understanding engineering drawings, specifications and various other engineering documents.

Role Summary: Responsible for preparing, updating, and validating Airbus Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) content of Airframe and System in accordance with Airbus authoring standards, customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, and project quality objectives.
