Kumaran Systems is seeking a Senior Test Manager in Chennai with a strong background in functional and automation testing to lead QA delivery across multiple projects. You will define testing strategies, govern QA processes, and manage stakeholder communications.

Ideal candidates have 14–19 years of experience, with expertise in estimation, budgeting, and leading large QA teams. Hybrid work setup and opportunities across Banking, Insurance, Telecom, and Automotive domains are offered.

• Support pre-sales activities, solutioning, and RFP responses.

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager with a strong background in Functional and Automation Testing to lead QA delivery, test strategy, stakeholder management, estimation, and costing across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive test strategy, governance, and quality assurance processes.
• Manage end-to-end testing across Functional, Automation, Integration, and UAT.
• Lead automation initiatives and improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Own effort estimation, budgeting, resource planning, and project costing.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications, reporting, and escalations.
• Track quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Lead and mentor QA teams across multiple projects and locations.
• Support pre-sales activities, solutioning, and RFP responses.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Test Management with Functional and Automation Testing.
• Expertise in effort estimation, budgeting, and costing models .
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
• Experience managing large QA teams and enterprise testing programs.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent .
• Strong risk management, governance, and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• ISTQB, PMP, Scrum, or equivalent certifications preferred.
