Job summary

Noventiq India is seeking a skilled security specialist to support Microsoft Security & Compliance technologies, including Defender XDR, Purview, and Entra ID. The role focuses on incident resolution, policy enforcement, and improving security posture across the environment.

The candidate will work with L1/L3 teams, follow ITIL processes, and contribute to ongoing compliance initiatives within a busy IT operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Security and Compliance technologies including Defender XDR and Purview.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services like Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online.
• Experience supporting DLP policies and information protection and sensitivity labels.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support and administration for Microsoft Security and Compliance technologies.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and policy issues with SLAs.
• Monitor security posture and drive Microsoft Secure Score improvements.
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Security Event Management.
• Maintain accurate tickets and knowledge base for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with L1/L3 and customer teams to ensure timely resolutions.
• Communicate progress and resolutions clearly to stakeholders.

About You

• ExperienceinmanagingMicrosoftPurviewcompliancesolutionsincludingDLP policies,InformationProtection,SensitivityLabels,DataLifecycleManagement, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, and Compliance Manager.
• Hands-on with supporting the Conditional Access policies, identity governance controls, MFA, and Zero Trust security initiatives within the Microsoft 365 environment.

What You 'll Do

• Provide L2 support and administration for Microsoft Security and Compliance technologies including Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, DefenderforOffice365,MicrosoftPurview,DataLossPrevention(DLP),Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Investigate,troubleshoot,andresolvesecurityincidents,servicerequests,andpolicy-relatedissuesescalatedfromL1teamswhileensuringcompliancewithagreedSLAs.
• Monitor and uplifting security posture and drive Microsoft Secure Score and ComplianceScoreimprovementinitiativesbyidentifyingrisks,recommending remediation actions, and industry best practice.
• FollowITIL-basedprocessesforIncident,Problem,Change,andSecurityEvent Management while ensuring proper documentation and governance.
• Maintainaccurateticketdocumentation,troubleshootingrecords,andknowledgebase articles to support continuous service improvement.
• CollaboratewithL1,L3,andcustomerteamstoensuretimelyresolutionofissuesand adherence to service commitments.
• Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills while providing regular updates on ticket progress and resolutions.
