Job summary

Noventiq India, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking an Azure Support Engineer with 2–4 years of cloud experience. You will handle first‑line technical support for Azure services, monitor incidents, and assist in configuring resources per templates.

Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are essential. The role emphasizes security adherence, ticket documentation, and user guidance in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2–4 years of experience in cloud technologies, IT support, or technical support roles.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Azure VMs, storage, networking, monitoring).
Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900) or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support as the first point of contact for Azure services (VMs, storage, networking).
Monitor, log, and troubleshoot incidents; escalate as needed.
Perform basic troubleshooting using Azure portal, logs, and diagnostics tools.
Monitor health of Azure services and assist in resolving issues.
Assist in configuring Azure services based on predefined templates.
Support Azure security by following policies and procedures.
Escalate to senior engineers for complex or unresolved issues.
Document incidents, solutions, and escalations in ticketing systems.
Provide user training on basic Azure features as needed.

Qualifications And Experience Required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

2-4 years of experience in cloud technologies, IT support, or technical support roles.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, storage, networking, and monitoring tools).

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure Networking, Azure Compute, and Azure Storage.

Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for cloud infrastructure issues.

Familiarity with PowerShell or Azure CLI is a plus.

Communication

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and provide clear, concise support.

Ability to document incidents and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate issues and solutions clearly.

Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification or similar certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for customers or internal users needing assistance with Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and more.

Incident Management: Monitor, log, and troubleshoot incidents reported through service tickets, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation.

Basic Troubleshooting: Use Azure portal, logs, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve basic cloud infrastructure and service-related issues.

System Monitoring: Monitor the health of Azure services, ensuring that systems are performing optimally. Assist in resolving minor performance issues, errors, and service interruptions.

Configuration Assistance: Assist in configuring Azure services and resources based on predefined templates and standards.

Support Azure Security: Ensure that security policies and procedures are followed, helping to identify potential security incidents related to cloud infrastructure.
