Job summary

CLSA in Gujarat is seeking an experienced IT professional to support front-office trading applications for NSE-IX with a focus on on-prem infra. You will ensure 24x7 operations, act as SME for trading applications in GiftCity, and coordinate with development and support teams to roll out new services.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in front-office trading app support, strong Unix/SQL skills, ITIL exposure, and excellent stakeholder management and English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with NSE-IX supported trading back-office operations.
• Knowledge of Unix and SQL is required.
• On-prem infra support experience.
• Strong communication and technical skills.
• Willing to relocate to Gujarat.

Responsibilities

• Operate trading operations with dealers and business heads locally and globally.
• Provide 24x7 support for CLSA's core trading application stack.
• Serve as SME for applications and technologies used by business in GiftCity.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to rollout services.
• Ensure IT estate is instrumented and monitored; maintain governance and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations and change management.
• Own the DC and related activities, including disaster recovery.
• Dolphin application understanding for middle-office support.

Job Description:

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Work on Trading Operations with regular interaction with dealers/traders/business heads locally. and across the globe as required
• Derivatives asset focus for NSE-IX
• Engage with, and act as a contact point for, local regulators and exchange inquiries.
• Ensure excellent 24x7 operations of CLSA's core mission-critical Trading application stack.
• Act as the SME for all applications & technologies used by business for trading GiftCity.
• Partner closely with Application Development and Support teams to support existing services and to rollout new services seamlessly and efficiently.
• Ensure that the IT estate is instrumented and monitored effectively.
• Establish and maintain an effective framework that provides comprehensive management controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of CLSA's information assets.
• Participate in on-call support rotation.
• Coordinate the timely recovery of IT systems and applications.
• Schedule and document regular changes according to change management rules & guidelines
• Ensure that production environment is stable and efficient.
• Adherence to CLSA documented governance guidelines.
• Provide an excellent, fast and responsive service to other teams.
• Own, coordinate & manage the DC & its related activities.
• Dolphin application understand for Middle office support.

Requirements

• Experience working for NSE-IX supported business and back office.
• Preferred Greeksoft application support and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related area
• Must have infra support on-prem support experience.
• Must have exposure to working directly other project stakeholders as needed.
• Prefer candidates with regional experience.
• Good communication and technical skills
• Knowledge on Exchange Regulations & Compliance
• Knowledge of Exchange certification process
• Knowledge of Unix,SQL is a must.
• Handling IT system and audits.
• Open to permanently relocate to Gujarat - preference is right fit to the role.
• At-least 6-8 years of experience in Front office Trading application support
• Strong Stakeholder management for application related stakeholders
• ITIL process adherence (change, release, incident, problem management)
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Hands on working on Dolphin application for Middle office support in GiftCity.
