Job summary

CLSA in Mumbai seeks an experienced IT operations professional to support front-office trading applications. You will coordinate on-call rotations, ensure 24x7 production stability, and act as SME for Dolphin in GiftCity trading. Interaction with dealers, traders, and regulators is routine.

The role requires strong Unix/SQL skills, ITIL adherence, and stakeholder management across regional teams. Relocation to Gujarat is a consideration per project needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
• Exposure to NSE-IX or capital market operations is preferred.
• Understanding of Unix and SQL essential for support.

Responsibilities

• Work on Trading Operations with dealers/traders and business heads locally.
• Engage with regulators and exchange inquiries globally as required.
• Ensure 24x7 operations of CLSA’s core trading application stack.
• Act as SME for applications and technologies used by business for GiftCity trading.
• Coordinate changes under ITIL change/release/incidence processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and timely recovery of IT systems.
• Own the DC and related activities; ensure governance and security.
• Provide fast, responsive service to other teams; support Dolphin MID office.
• Interact with Application Development and Support teams for new services.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Work on Trading Operations with regular interaction with dealers/traders/business heads locally.
• and across the globe as required
• Derivatives asset focus for NSE-IX
• Engage with, and act as a contact point for, local regulators and exchange inquiries.
• Ensure excellent 24x7 operations of CLSA’s core mission-critical Trading application stack.
• Act as the SME for all applications & technologies used by business for trading GiftCity.
• Partner closely with Application Development and Support teams to support existing services and to rollout new services seamlessly and efficiently.
• Ensure that the IT estate is instrumented and monitored effectively.
• Establish and maintain an effective framework that provides comprehensive management controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of CLSA’s information assets.
• Participate in on-call support rotation.
• Coordinate the timely recovery of IT systems and applications.
• Schedule and document regular changes according to change management rules & guidelines
• Ensure that production environment is stable and efficient.
• Adherence to CLSA documented governance guidelines.
• Provide an excellent, fast and responsive service to other teams.
• Own, coordinate & manage the DC & its related activities.
• Dolphin application understand for Middle office support.

Requirements

• Experience working for NSE-IX supported business and back office.
• Preferred Greeksoft application support and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related area Must have infra support on-prem support experience.
• Must have exposure to working directly other project stakeholders as needed.
• Prefer candidates with regional experience.
• Good communication and technical skills Knowledge on Exchange Regulations & Compliance Knowledge of Exchange certification process Knowledge of Unix,SQL is a must.
• Handling IT system and audits.
• Open to permanently relocate to Gujarat – preference is right fit to the role.
• At-least 6-8 years of experience in Front office Trading application support Strong Stakeholder management for application related stakeholders ITIL process adherence (change, release, incident, problem management) Good command of spoken and written English.
• Hands on working on Dolphin application for Middle office support in GiftCity.
