Job description

What's the role?

• Strong coding expertise in Java / Scala / Python, with ability to design and maintain complex services
• Lead the development of features and platform enhancements with end‑to‑end ownership
• Hands‑on experience architecting, developing and operating scalable services on AWS
• Communicate technical designs through proposals, design specs, diagrams
• Collaborate effectively with globally distributed stakeholders including architects, PMs, and cross‑functional teams
• Drive engineering best practices with a focus on simplicity, quality, and measurable impact
• (Good to have) Make balanced technical decisions, managing trade‑offs between speed, quality, and long‑term maintainability
• Recommend and justify architectural or product changes using data‑driven reasoning and technical depth
• Mentor team members and contribute to improving engineering culture, processes, and standards
