Job summary

HERE Technologies is seeking a talented software engineer in Mumbai to design, develop, and operate scalable services using Java, Scala, and Python. You will own features end-to-end, from architecture through deployment, collaborating with global teams and leveraging AWS cloud capabilities.

You will mentor teammates, drive best practices, and help shape the engineering culture to deliver high-quality solutions with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Strong coding expertise in Java/Scala/Python to design and maintain complex services.
• Experience leading feature development and end-to-end platform ownership.
• Hands-on experience architecting, developing and operating scalable services on AWS.
• Ability to communicate technical designs via proposals, design specs and diagrams.
• Collaborates with globally distributed stakeholders including architects, PMs, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor teammates and help improve engineering culture, processes and standards.
