What's the role?

The job includes all parts of the software development lifecycle: refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support. As our team is spread around the globe, you will work collaboratively with other team members from different locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop software that is well‑crafted and steadily adds business value, as part of a community of professionals.
• Engage with internal and external customers for requirements, change requests and incidents to help define application specifications.
• Own one or more components of software architecture in the immediate environment.
• Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, do code reviews, and maintain proactive communication.
• Drive and improve engineering best practices (e.g., agile, coding, verification).
• Define complex, cross‑subsystem/product designs to be implemented by the team.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team.

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Master’s degree (M.S.) in Computer Science preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in building production‑grade systems.
• Proven track record of developing highly scalable, robust, and fault‑tolerant distributed systems using open‑source technologies.
• Programming skills: Strong proficiency in Java, collections, DSA, and fundamentals.
• Cloud infrastructure: Proficient with cloud‑based platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2, AWS EMR, and Redis.
• Message queues: Hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Big data: Familiarity with Apache Spark is an added advantage.
