Job summary

Bizmatics, a division of Harris Computer, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our R&D team in the healthcare domain. This role offers remote work coordination with an office presence in Mumbai (Vikhroli) and standard 9am–6pm IST hours.

You will develop high-performance Java applications, contribute to microservices, and work with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Ansible. Strong Java/Spring and SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
• Strong SQL/database design knowledge (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Analytical problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Anti-Gravity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to microservices design and integration with internal/external systems.
• Apply JVM performance tuning and memory management best practices.
• Implement authentication and authorization with Spring Security.
• Write and maintain JavaScript/jQuery; React.js is a plus.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development standards.
• Work with DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube) and basic deployment automation (Ansible).
• Familiar with caching frameworks and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid understanding of Git, branching, and version control.

Job Summary

Work Mode: Remote

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 9am to 6Pm IST

Location: Mumbai -In Office (Vikhroli)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Contribute to the design of microservices and integration with internal/external systems
• Apply best practices for JVM performance tuning and memory management
• Implement authentication and authorization flows using Spring Security
• Write and maintain JavaScript/jQuery code; familiarity with React.js is a plus
• Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and contribute to improving development standards
• Work with DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube) and understand basic deployment automation (Ansible)
• Familiar with caching frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible
• Solid understanding of Git, branching, and version control best practices
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases

Good to Have

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure coding practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-6 years of experience in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)
• Good understanding of SQL and database design (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
