Job summary

GAVS Technologies N.A., Inc in Chennai is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead agile practices for our backend NDC team. You will serve as a servant leader, guiding the team to improve while aligning with organizational goals and delivering high-quality middleware solutions.

The role focuses on facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, tracking sprint metrics, and collaborating with Product Owners and QA/DevOps to ensure smooth integration and timely delivery in a complex backend

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Basic understanding of middleware technologies (APIs, integration layers, messaging systems).
• Proven ability to measure and improve agile metrics (e.g., defect leakage, cycle time, throughput).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and build trust across teams.
• Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools.
• Experience as a Scrum Master in a backend or middleware team.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience working with distributed teams.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Prior experience in Airlines domain.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
