Job summary

Reveille Technologies is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a strong software development background in Coimbatore. You will facilitate Agile delivery, drive Scrum practices, and collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in software development/engineering and can understand architecture, APIs, deployments, and SDLC processes. Immediate joiners preferred for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience with software delivery.
• Hands-on understanding of SDLC, APIs, architectures, and deployments.
• Experience communicating with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
• Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and drive sprint delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, and DevOps.
• Track velocity, burndown charts, and delivery commitments.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and push for closure.
• Support backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning.
• Ensure clear communication between tech teams and stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in engineering practices and quality.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a strong software development background to facilitate Agile delivery, drive Scrum practices, and work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in software development/engineering and should be able to understand technical discussions, development challenges, architecture, APIs, deployments, and SDLC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.
• Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues impacting sprint delivery.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown/burnup charts, and delivery commitments.
• Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration.
• Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive them to closure.
• Support backlog refinement, story estimation, prioritization, and sprint planning.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across development and delivery processes.
• Monitor project metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Help teams improve engineering practices, quality, productivity, and predictability.
• Participate in release planning and coordinate cross-functional dependencies.

Technical / Developer Background

• Strong prior experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer is preferred.
• Good understanding of SDLC, software development lifecycle, application architecture, APIs, databases, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
• Ability to understand technical challenges and effectively communicate with engineering teams.
• Exposure to technologies such as Java / .NET / Python / JavaScript / Cloud / Microservices is an advantage.
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
