Job summary

TAS India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, Maharashtra, India is seeking a seasoned Tender Manager to own the end-to-end bid lifecycle in the industrial automation domain.

You will lead opportunity identification, prepare techno-commercial bids, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely submission of proposals. The role requires deep knowledge of PLC/SCADA, instrumentation, and cost estimation, with strong stakeholder communication and client-focused negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete tender and bid process from opportunity to contract signature.
• Prepare tender documentation, techno-commercial bids, submissions, quotations, bid schedules, forecasts and cost estimates.
• Maintain the bid repository and act as the primary client-to-bid-team contact.
• Support sales presentations, pre-sales meetings, marketing communication and lead generation.
• Independently clarify customer requirements and negotiate technical and commercial terms.
• Re-engage existing and past customers to identify new opportunities.

Role responsibilities

Manage the complete tender and bid process from opportunity identification through final submission and contract signature. Prepare tender documentation, techno-commercial bids, reverse-auction submissions, quotations, bid schedules, forecasts and cost estimates. Maintain the bid repository and act as the primary client-to-bid-team contact. Support sales presentations, pre-sales meetings, marketing communication and lead generation. Independently clarify customer requirements and negotiate technical and commercial terms. Re-engage existing and past customers to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of instrumentation, control and electrical systems, including PLC and SCADA platforms, modules and operating philosophies.
• Ability to understand standalone and integrated systems and develop system architecture.
• Knowledge of major wired and wireless industrial communication protocols and products from multiple brands.
• Ability to evaluate electronic and instrumentation products for technical suitability and cost effectiveness.
• Working knowledge of commercial terminology and documentation used in government and private tenders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tender portals, bid timetables and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
