Job summary

Trantor is seeking a Sr. Professional Services Engineer – SD-WAN in Noida for post-sales technical support and complex network troubleshooting.

You will engage with customers and partners to implement configurations, resolve issues, and share best practices across a multi-vendor WAN environment. The role requires 6–10 years in professional services or technical support, deep SD-WAN knowledge across multiple vendors, scripting skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in professional services/technical support.
• Expertise with remote access VPN, IPsec, PKI/SSL, TCP/IP, LDAP/RADIUS.
• Hands-on SD-WAN/ZTNA tech: Cisco Viptela, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, Fortinet, Cato, SilverPeak.
• Strong SD-WAN principles and advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Networking and network security fundamentals; multi-vendor devices.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet.
• Experience with Firewall Central Management Systems
• Multifactor authentication security systems
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS and firewalls
• Ability to debug complex networks across mixed media
• Virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenStack
• Windows and macOS experience
• Knowledge of Linux
• Python and Bash scripting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• CCIE Routing & Switching preferred
• BE/B.Tech in CSE/EC or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide Implementation and Technical Support to customers and partners
• Provide configurations, troubleshooting, and best practices to customers
• Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner
• Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues
• Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base
• Review of technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
• The candidate is expected to comply with the company's policies and procedures.

You will work firsthand with our valued customers to address their complex post-sales concerns where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of many factors. Job Role & Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 6 – 10 years prior experience in a Professional Services and/or Technical Support environment is required.
• Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols (LDAP, RADIUS, etc.)
• Hands on Experience with any one of the below SD-WAN/ZTNA technologies is Mandatory - Cisco Viptela / Palo Alto Prisma Access / Zscaler/ Fortinet / Cato Networks / SilverPeak and manage a multi-vendor WAN/SD-WAN multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to NHRP, EIGRP, BPG4 and OSPF.
• Thorough understanding of the latest SD-WAN principles, techniques, and protocols, furthermore advanced level troubleshooting skills on systems and with diverse Tools.
• In-depth understanding of Networking and Network Security concepts and experience with multi-vendor networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, traffic generators, etc.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper (Netscreen), and Fortinet products a plus
• Experience working with Firewall Central Management Systems
• Experience working with a multi-factor authentication security system (tokens, certificates, CAC cards, and similar)
• Working knowledge of Security services (IDS/IPS, Firewalls, etc.)
• Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required
• Virtualization experience will be a plus. (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack)
• Experience with Windows and MAC OS is a plus (Debugging, Editing Registries, Plist, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux
• Working knowledge of Python and BASH Scripting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidates with CCIE – Routing and Switching certification would be Preferred.
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering / Electronics & Communications Engineering or their equivalent.
