Job summary

Harris in Vadodara is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support global procurement operations—from sourcing to supplier management and analytics—working with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the procurement lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in procurement, strong knowledge of requisition/PO processing, supplier scorecards, risk/compliance reviews, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement lifecycle.
• Experience in requisition and PO processing.
• Knowledge of supplier management, scorecards, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with procurement and financial tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with US/global teams.
• Experience using AI tools and digital productivity applications.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, RFQs, and sourcing activities.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and support supplier selection processes.
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, KPI tracking, and periodic reviews.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, including contracts and certifications.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and performance dashboards to support business decisions.
• Support supplier diversity initiatives and maintain related reporting.
• Utilize AI tools and digital procurement platforms to improve efficiency, reporting, and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with US/global stakeholders and suppliers to resolve procurement issues and drive process improvements.
• Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
