Mphasis Retirement Plan Services is seeking a Retirement Planning- Specialist (Level 3) to bring 2.5+ years of financial services operations expertise to a busy retirement services group in Bengaluru. The role requires retirement services experience, Excel proficiency, and a strong team focus.

The candidate will handle defined benefits operations, ERISA compliance tasks, money-in and loan processing, and disbursements, while aligning with quality standards and schedules.

Competenze

• Overall >2.5 years of financial services operations experience.
• 12 months of Retirement Services expertise required.
• Experience in defined benefits operations and benefits calculations.
• ERISA compliance experience including Form 5500 responses.
• Experience in money in and loan processing activities.
• Experience in disbursements and 401K contributions processing.
• Industry ASPPA RPF certification is advantageous.
• Data entry and quantitative decision making.
• Teamwork, accountability and prioritisation are demonstrated.
• Understand business rules and task requirements; adhere to quality and schedule.

• Perform defined benefits calculations and benefits reviews.
• Handle ERISA testing and prepare Form 5500 responses.
• Manage money in and loan processing activities, including check processing and repayments.
• Process disbursements such as distributions and QDROs.
• Ensure adherence to quality parameters and schedules; meet targets.

Retirement Planning- Specialist (Level 3)

Overall >2.5 years of financial services operations expertise.

Mandatory 12 months of Retirement Services expertise along with knowledge in one or more of following:

• Defined Benefits Operations (E.g. - Benefits calculations, Benefits Review), Benefits Calculation for Retirement, Termination, Disability, Death, Divorce, Proficiency in MS Excel, and experience in performing manual calculations.?
• ERISA Compliance - US Retirement Plan Testing & Reporting experience. Form 5500 responses to auditor questions
• a) Preparing responses to external auditor questions on the data provided to them in the plan's year end trust statement and supplemental reports.
• Money In and Loans
• a) Must have experience in handling money in & Loan related activities, i.e., Check processing, contribution, loan initiation, Loan repayments , Reamortization etc.
• Disbursements: Distributions/Disbursements such as Hardship withdrawals, QDRO, RMD, In-service distributions, loans or experience in processing 401K contribution, loan repayments etc.
• Industry certifications (ASPPA RPF) will be added advantage
• Data Entry & Quantitative Decision Making
• Regularly displays the concepts of teamwork, accountability, and prioritization.
• Makes decisions within guidelines, balancing risk, and service needs, seeking assistance from manager as necessary
• Understanding of business rules
• Understanding task requirements
• Handling tasks and providing resolution within TAT
• Staying current with knowledge of products/ processes & services offered by the client
• Ensure full adherence to all the quality parameters.
• Ensure 100% adherence to schedule.
