Job summary

Apothecon in Vadodara seeks an Environmental & Safety Engineer to manage effluent analysis, operate ETP/MEE/RO/STP systems, and ensure GPCB compliance. Qualifications

• B.E. or M.Sc. in Environment required; PDIS mandatory.
• Experience in chemical/pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Knowledge of GPCB requirements and ESG principles advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze effluent parameters (COD, BOD, NH3-N, MLSS, TDS, DO, etc.).
• Operate and troubleshoot ETP/MEE/RO/STP systems.
• Operate press and screw filters.
• Prepare and submit periodic GPCB compliance reports (monthly/half-yearly/yearly).
• Prepare EHS SOPs; manage hazardous waste.
• Conduct environmental monitoring per GPCB requirements.
• Handle GPCB XGN portal; ensure safety and compliance.
