Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Gujarat seeks an EHS specialist to ensure environmental health and safety compliance across the site. You will work with regulatory bodies (GPCB, CPCB, PESO, MoEF) and develop robust EHS policies and training programs for employees and contractors.

Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, audits, risk assessments, and implementing safety measures such as confined space entry, LOTO, and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/ BE in chemical, B.Sc Chemistry, M.Sc Chemistry or Environmental Science with PDIS/ADIS required.
• Experience dealing with GPCB, CPCB, DISH, PESO, MoEF.
• Ensure compliance with statutory EHS requirements at the site.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Provide training on EHS best practices to employees and contractors at the site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations.
• Compliance with GPCB, CPCB, GIDC, DISH, PESO, etc.
• Administer and maintain compliance programs such as Confined space entry, LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Height work, Respiratory Protection, BBP, risk identification and mitigation.

• Administering and maintaining compliance programs such as Confined space entry, LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Height work, Respiratory Protection, BBP, identifying risk and its mitigation etc.
• Industrial Experience in Polymer/ Chemical/Petrochemicals.
