Job summary

Astreya is seeking a senior Network Engineer to lead PoP deployments and oversee network go-lives in a large-scale, multi-site setting. You will work on high-availability infrastructure, perform Nautobot updates, and collaborate with vendors to ensure smooth circuit rollouts.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in network engineering, strong knowledge of WAN protocols and dynamic routing, and hands-on experience with Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, and Arista OS. CCIE is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Experience in network operations and service optimization in highly available, multi-vendor, large-scale environments.
• Proficient with WAN protocols such as SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP).
• Familiar with Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS, etc.
• Exposure to virtualization/overlay tech (VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs).
• CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead PoP builds and oversee go-lives.
• Create and maintain HLD/LLD documentation.
• Perform Nautobot updates and data center planning.
• Manage circuit turn-ups and cross-site migrations.
• Oversee network go-lives and post-launch support.
• Coordinate migrations with vendors to minimize downtime.

• Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment.
• WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN)
• Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP)
• Diverse skills in client and network operating systems such as Linux, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS, etc.
• Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, MP-BGP, VRFs)
• Expertise in collaborating with vendors to run circuit delivery, problem solving and migrations
• CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus
