Job summary

VnU Consulting Services in Mumbai invites applications for a Custom Operation Manager to lead the Export CHB team, ensuring timely customs clearance and strong client relationships. You will coordinate with Sales on pricing, offer integrated logistics, and drive growth through value-added services.

You will also ensure timely billing, train the team in operations and compliance, and coordinate with CFS facilities and accounts receivable to maintain smooth cargo movement and collections.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate or Post Graduate qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office and management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Export CHB team and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Build and maintain relationships with CHB customers and identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales for pricing and timely quotations to support growth.
• Promote integrated logistics solutions including freight forwarding and value-added services.

Lead the Export CHB team and ensure timely completion of customs clearance activities in co-ordination with the field representatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing CHB customers to retain business and identify new opportunities.Work closely with the Sales team to offer competitive pricing while maintaining healthy profit margins and ensuring quotations sent within fixed timelines to support sales growth and improve conversion rates.Promote integrated logistics solutions to CHB customers by offering freight forwarding, transportation, and other value-added services.Participate is periodic review meetings of the customer with the Sales and Key Account Management teamsGrow CHB revenue by expanding the customer base and promoting value-added services such as freight forwarding and transportation.Guide customers, on customs clearance processes and compliance requirements, especially first-time exporters.Ensure timely billing by driving the team to submit completed jobs promptly to the billing department.Maintain strong coordination with CFS facilities to ensure timely cargo movement, customs clearance, and efficient handling of export shipments.Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve invoicing issues, follow up on outstanding payments, and support faster collections.Retain customers by providing timely operational support, advice, and proactive solutions.Conduct regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team skills in operations, compliance, and customer service.Encourage digital and IT upskilling within the team to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality.Experience and Qualifications:Any Graduate/Post Graduation preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics by a licensed educational institution15 plus years of relevant experienceHigh standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant management applications
