Job summary

Visteon Corporation in Pune invites a seasoned Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a 15-20 person team delivering mechanical designs for automotive products, focusing on on-time, on-cost, on-quality results.

The role requires 18+ years in mechanical engineering, with experience in automotive or electro-mechanical domains, 3D CAD, GD&T, DFMEA, and thermal management. You will mentor staff and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 18+ years of relevant engineering experience preferably in regional or global environment.
• Experience in Automotive or Electro-mechanical products domain Electronics product design, Thermal Management, EMC interface design
• Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, Diecast, Sealing components design
• Strong experience in ensuring the design quality, verification, Validation methods.
• Expertise in 3D CAD, 2D drawings
• Strong experience in GD&T application, Tolerance studies, DFMEA
• Exposure to Structural and Thermal Simulations
• Exposure to Validation testing, issue resolution and design improvements
• Experience in Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous Improvement
• Experience in Project planning, assignment, prioritization, Risk management, Monitoring of the progress and reporting
• Exposure to Global Culture/Customer is an added advantage.
• Experience in VAVE is added advantage.
