Job description

• Identify and onboard reliable sourcing partners, including farmers, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), mandi agents, aggregators, and vendors.
• Develop crop calendars and procurement forecasts based on demand trends and sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships and transparent practices.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and volume commitments with suppliers.
• Drive cost efficiencies in procurement while maintaining consistent quality.
• Implement tools for real-time pricing, quality control, and inventory planning.
• Expand and manage procurement operations across multiple & sourcing hubs.
• Build and manage a pan-India procurement team, including regional buyers, sourcing managers, and vendor development officers.
• Coordinate closely with sales, logistics, finance, and inventory planning teams.
