Job summary

GVK EMRI is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers through competitive bidding and rigorous supplier assessment. You will negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements to secure reliable supply.

You will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and lead cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in reputed firms.
• Experience in competitive bidding and supplier assessment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to analyze procurement data and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers through competitive bidding and supplier assessment.

• Manage the procurement cycle from purchase requisition to purchase order and delivery.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to avoid operational disruptions.
• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, value engineering, specification optimization, and strategic sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Quality, Stores, and Projects.
• Analyze procurement data, market trends, and commodity price movements.
• Manage procurement budgets and prepare MIS reports, procurement dashboards, and savings reports.
• Experience – Minimum 5 years in Procurement in reputed firms.
