Green Start Management Consultancy seeks a seasoned Senior Manager – Sourcing to lead regional strategic sourcing and procurement across multiple manufacturing sites in India. You will shape category strategies, drive cost savings, and manage supplier performance while guiding a high-performance team.

The role requires deep expertise in negotiations, contracts, and supplier development, with strong analytics and stakeholder management skills to operate in a matrix organization.

Formación

• 20–25+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement within manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in supplier negotiations, contracts, cost reduction and supplier development.
• Experience with ERP/Oracle, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Six Sigma/PPAP/APQP a plus.

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager – Sourcing to lead regional strategic sourcing and procurement activities across multiple manufacturing sites and business units in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies for direct & indirect materials.
• Drive cost savings, productivity, VAVE/VA-VE, resourcing and supplier development initiatives.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracts and long-term commercial agreements.
• Manage supplier performance across Cost, Quality, Delivery and Working Capital.
• Drive supplier risk management, dual sourcing, capacity planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics and Business Leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of Category Managers, building a high-performance sourcing organization.
• Drive sourcing process standardization and operational excellence across plants.
• Provide sourcing insights, risks, opportunities and performance updates to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 20–25+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in supplier negotiations, contracts, cost reduction and supplier development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP/Oracle, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Pareto, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, Poka-Yoke and MSA.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization.
• PMP/Supply Chain certification will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and results orientation.
