Job summary

MAHLE, a leading automotive supplier in India, seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, execute, and close complex projects in the automotive sector. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with regional and international colleagues to ensure on-time delivery meeting quality standards.

The role requires 12–20 years in project management/engineering within automotive, with knowledge of machining components and IATF 16949 processes.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (Mech/Automobile/Production) required.
• 12–20 years’ experience in project management/engineering in automotive industry.
• Knowledge of machining precision automotive components, like camshaft, crankshaft.
• Preference for knowledge of critical assembly processes (assembled camshaft or other automotive assemblies).
• Involvement/experience in domestic or international relocation activity for machining plant.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, GD&T, drawings, APQP, PPAP etc.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization time-management abilities.
• Ability to drive the team to achieve the goal.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including MS office – Tools like, Strong Excel knowledge and data management skill, PPT, SAP.
• Excellent communication skills: (written and verbal) to effectively convey information to stakeholders and team members. Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills: prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills: to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills: to motivate and guide teams, build relationships, and manage conflict.
