Job summary

Krishnaveni Carbon Products is seeking an experienced engineer to lead New Product Development in CNC machining and precision components. The role requires hands-on machining skills, ability to analyze processes and develop robust PFMEA/DFMEA, APQP and PPAP documentation.

Candidate will read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive process validation and cycle-time improvements for automotive/precision components.

Qualifications

• Experience in New Product Development (NPD) for CNC machining
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC Turning, Turn-Mill, VMC and Grinding
• Proficiency in DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP and process validation
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T and customer specifications
• Experience in cycle time estimation, tooling selection and machining process development
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive customer-specific requirements is preferred

• Hands-on knowledge of CNC Turning, Turn-Mill, VMC, Grinding and conventional machining processes.
• Proficiency in DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP and process validation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, product specifications and customer requirements.
• Experience in process feasibility studies, cycle time estimation, tooling selection and machining process development.
• Knowledge of new product trials, prototype development, first-piece inspection and production validation.
• Experience in preparing process flow charts, control plans, work instructions and other NPD documentation.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive customer-specific requirements is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, PPC, Tool Room and Customer Engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
