Redbricks Education Foundation is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead controllership, financial reporting, and internal controls for the organization based in Ahmedabad/Gujarat. The role involves ensuring timely closing, statutory compliance under Ind-AS, and stakeholder reporting to MD and the Board.

Strong leadership and integrity are essential as you mentor the accounting team and partner with treasury and fundraising units.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Ind-AS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing financial statements and analyses.
• Proficiency in Tally software for accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Controllership: accounting, reporting, and upgrading internal controls, systems and processes.
• Manage daily operations of the accounting dept and consolidate financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity for business operations.
• Close books monthly, quarterly, and annually per Ind-AS.
• Oversee statutory and internal audits.
• Provide MIS and business planning data to senior management.
• Support treasury, cash flow and fundraising with accounts.
• Lead payments function for vendors, employee claims, and TDS.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for the industry.
• Collaborate with business partners to meet financial needs.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Controllership: Accounting, reporting, and upgrading internal controls, systems and processes.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Responsible for the periodical consolidation of financial statements.
• Cash Flow Monitoring: Prepare and analyze cash flow to ensure financial stability, liquidity and support business operations. Ensure timely collection and disbursement of funds.
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing books and Accounts, finalisation of balance sheet and annual reports as per Ind-AS.
• Audits: Oversee statutory and internal audits.
• MIS & Business planning: Provide the quality accounting data in time-bound manner to MD Sir.
• Ensure accounts support to treasury, cash flow and fundraising team in a seamless manner.
• Accounts payable: Lead the payments function for businesses which shall include sub- functions like vendor payments, employee claims and payments related to TDS among other things.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comprehend and act on the compliance specific to this industry
• Business partnership: Alignment with businesses for catering to their financial requirements

Experience & Education Qualification: -

M.Com (15-17 Years) / Inter CA (10-12 Years) / CA (2-3 Years)

Functional &Technical expertise:

• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (Ind-As)
• Preparation of financial Statements, financial analysis
• Well Versed with Tally Software
