Job summary

Eduplex Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a senior Finance & Accounts leader to drive end-to-end finance operations. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, financial reporting, and governance while leading a capable team.

You should hold CA/CMA/MBA Finance/M.Com with 10-15+ years post-qualification, and have strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Tally Prime) plus leadership and stakeholder skills. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

  • CA/CMA/MBA Finance/M.Com or equivalent required.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Experience from construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or EPC preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, PF, ESI, and statutory compliances.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee AP processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Monitor AR, invoicing, collections, and cash realization.
  • Ensure GST, income tax, PF, ESI, PT, and other filings are timely.
  • Lead monthly MIS, financial statements, and variance analysis.
  • Strengthen internal controls and support audits and taxation activities.
  • Manage treasury, cash flow, and banking relationships; drive automation.

Job description

Job Requirements:

  • CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.
  • Com or equivalent qualification.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Preferably from construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or EPC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AP, AR, taxation, and statutory compliances.
  • Expertise in ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, or Tally Prime.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.

Job Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable (AP):- Oversee vendor invoice processing and payment cycles.
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor reconciliations and outstanding balances.
  • Implement controls for purchase-to-payment processes.
  • Review aging analysis of payables and optimize working capital.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR):- Monitor customer billing, invoicing, and collections.
  • Track outstanding receivables and reduce collection cycle time.
  • Coordinate with business teams for payment follow-ups.
  • Review debtor aging reports and cash realization forecasts.
  • Ensure timely accounting of receipts and customer reconciliations.
  • Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:- Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax Network (GST), Income Tax Department (TDS/TCS), Employees' Provident Fund Organization (PF), Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESI), Professional Tax, and other statutory obligations.
  • Ensure timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Keep track of amendments in financial and tax laws.
  • Financial Reporting & Controls:- Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
  • Review general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.
  • Support annual audit, internal audit, and tax audit activities.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management:- Manage working capital and daily cash flow planning.
  • Coordinate banking operations, fund utilization, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor fund requirements for projects and operations.
  • Team Leadership:- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination with procurement, HR, projects, and operations.
