Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer based in Mumbai. This role requires extensive experience in instrumentation and control systems specific to offshore projects. You will prepare and check process diagrams, equipment layouts, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project success.

Ideal candidates have 12 to 15 years of experience, with commendable knowledge of control systems and associated technologies. Mentoring a team and ensuring safety protocols are paramount in this role.

• Commending knowledge of Control & Safeguarding systems.
• In-depth knowledge on Flow metering, HIPPS, and F&G devices.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years’ experience in Instrumentation and control systems pertaining to Offshore projects (Domestic / International)
• Commending knowledge on Field Instrumentation, Control & Safeguarding system for Offshore projects
• In depth Knowledge on Flow metering, HIPPS, F&G devices, Telecom would be an added advantage
• Knowledge/hands‑on experience in Procurement Engineering Cycle including MR, TBE, TQs, Vendor Document Reviews, FAT, SAT

Responsibilities

• Preparation/CHecking of Process & Instrumentation Diagram. Preparation of System Configuration & technical specification for Systems
• Equipment Layouts Checking / Mark-ups, Subcontractor co‑ordination, Preparation of Operation & Control Philosophy for plant ensuring safety interlocks and Drive Control Permissive
• Preparation of Instrument Schedule, IO List, Database, Alarm and Annunciation List
• Team mentoring, Training and Client/Interdicipline co‑ordination
