Job summary

Schiller India is seeking an experienced hardware engineer in Bengaluru to lead high-speed digital and mixed-signal designs, prototyping and debugging.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with CGPA 8.0+ and a minimum of five years in related work, with emphasis on PCB layouts up to 8 layers, EMC compliance, and robust documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field with CGPA 8.0+
• Min 5+ years of experience in relevant domains
• Experience in high-speed digital and mixed-signal design, prototyping and debugging
• Proficiency in PCB CAD tools and EMC knowledge
• Knowledge of hardware architecture and MCU/MPU based designs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to triage issues
• Strong documentation and revision control practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability in high-speed digital electronic design, mixed signal design, prototyping and debugging
• Create block diagrams, schematics, PCB layout (up to 8 layers), component selection, worst case circuit analysis, testing, and design verification
• Proficiency in CAD tools for PCB design
• Working knowledge of EMC
• Knowledge of Hardware Architecture
• In-depth knowledge of Microcontroller/Microprocessor based designs and debugging the same
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to triage and resolve complex hardware issues, working seamlessly with other engineers on problem investigation
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware products to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and quality standards
• Thorough documentation and revision control practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
