Job summary

Agiliad in Pune seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with 5 years of hardware experience to lead embedded hardware development for industrial and medical applications.

You will design analog circuits, 32‑bit MCU-based boards, power supplies, high-speed digital sections, and multi-layer PCBs, perform board bring‑up, EMI/EMC testing, and reliability analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communications required.
• 5 years of hardware design experience required.
• Experience in embedded product design for industrial and medical applications.
• Proficiency with analog, power electronics and mixed-signal designs.
• Familiarity with SPICE simulations (PSPICE/LTSPICE) and board bring-up.

Job Description

• Experience in Embedded product design for industrial and medical applications.
• Analog design: OP-AMP circuits, ADC, data acquisition, sensor interface/signal conditioning circuits.
• Embedded Hardware Design -32 bit Microprocessor/microcontroller-based hardware designs.
• Power electronics: DC-DC converter and Linear regulators
• Wireless technology BLE, UWB, NFC, Wifi or LTE
• High speed digital circuit design
• Various Communication Standards: UART, I2C, RS485, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet etc.,
• Multilayer PCB design understanding layout & routing guidelines for performance
• Complex Hardware testing Board bring up and Hardware Characterization
• EMI/EMC design considerations & testing, EMI/EMC
• DFMEA, DFM,DFA, DFT, Product reliability analysis
• IEC, UL, CE , CISPR standards understanding
• Experience in Pspice, LTSPICE for simulation and design calculations
• Good communication
• Experience in use of design entry tools like Orcad, Capture, Altium etc.
• Experience in use of simulation packages such as PSPICE, LTSPICE
• Simulations - High speed board Power and Signal Integrity analysis, Thermal
• Hands on experience in using testing & debugging tools like emulators, DSO, Logic Analyzer etc for board bring-up.

Good-to-Have –

• Exposure to complete hardware development life cycle,
• Automotive, Industrial Automation/ Medical domain experience
• Exposure to DFMEA, DFA, DFM & DFT guidelines as well as Reliability analysis.
• Mixed signal design using 16/32-bit microcontrollers, processors, FPGA, SDRAMs, DDRs, FLASH.
