Del Monte Foods is seeking a Sourcing Executive to own end-to-end procurement of Packaging Materials (PM), from MRP-based demand review to PO planning and vendor management. • Working knowledge of SAP (MM/procurement modules) and MRP-driven planning.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail in material master data, BOM, and PO accuracy.
• Cross-functional coordination across Production, Quality, Finance, and Planning.
• Analytical ability to build and maintain trackers/MIS for the PM category.
• Proactive follow-up and issue-resolution orientation.
• 45 years of hands-on experience in packaging development, preferably within the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methods and standards for shelf-life, transit, and barrier performance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement of Packaging Materials (PM) from demand review through PO planning and vendor management.

The Sourcing Executive owns end-to-end procurement of Packaging Materials (PM) from MRP-based demand review and PO planning through vendor management, material receipt, and quality/finance issue resolution. The role coordinates closely with Demand Planning, Production, Quality, Finance, and cross-plant teams to ensure uninterrupted, cost-effective, and quality-compliant PM supply, while also maintaining material master data (codes, BOMs) and supporting Product Development (PD) and SAP transition initiatives.

Key Interfaces:

• Demand Planning (DP) MRP sharing and consumption alignment
• Production & Quality PM rejections and material issue resolution
• Finance/Costing PO price confirmation and post-receipt finance issues
• Vendors/Suppliers PO release, delivery follow-up and vendor code creation
• Logistics - vehicle placement for EXW material movement
• Product Development (PD) - Trial alignment, new material codes, BOM updates and PD activities
