Job summary

Dharampal Satyapal Foods Limited, manufacturing unit in Telangana, invites a Quality Assurance professional to join the CMU/DSHQ quality team. You will implement HACCP, GMP, traceability and regulatory standards across materials and finished products.

You will coordinate with DSHQ and CMU operations to ensure compliance, conduct in-process checks, manage documentation, drive shop-floor training, and generate quality reports while aiming for zero defects and compliant products.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with DSHQ and CMU teams to implement QA & Food Safety standards (HACCP, GMP, traceability, regulatory compliance).
• Verify incoming materials from approved vendors against standard specs.
• Conduct in-process QC and finished goods inspection.
• Drive shop-floor skill development for consistent QA practices.
• Handle documentation related to Quality & Food Safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GMP and CMU quality ratings and ensure compliance with legal metrology and food safety standards.
• Develop and implement CAPA for quality & food safety issues and customer complaints.
• Produce statistical quality reports and KPIs; escalate issues to top management.

Job Description

• Coordinate with DSHQ team and CMU operation team to ensure implementation of Quality & Food Safety standards and their consistent compliances i.e. HACCP, Traceability, GMP, Regulatory/ Statuary compliances etc.
• Ensure all incoming raw and packing materials are from approved vendors and verified against standard specifications.
• Conduct in-process Quality checks and finished goods inspection.
• Drive a skill & competence building program at the shop floor to achieve consistent shop floor practices.
• Responsible for handling various documentation related to Quality & Food Safety.
• Ensuring products are complying with Legal Metrology and Food safety standards.
• To oversee the overall GMP and to ensure the quality rating of the CMU at the targeted levels.
• Responsible for end to end strategizing and maintaining the quality standards by keeping a check on the process, material, timelines etc.
• Monitor and control cost variance including material usage variances and wastages.
• Supporting various NPD & Trials projects with R&D /site team.
• Ensuring products at CMU are being produced as per standard recipe.
• Producing statistical reports on quality standards.
• Escalating Quality & Food Safety issues with top management.
• Conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective and Preventive action plans for shop-floor quality & Food Safety issues and for customer complaints.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Compliance to product parameters as per specifications. – 100% for RM & FG
• Continuous improvements in quality KPIs such as DPM, RFT etc.
• Weekly/monthly Quality reporting as per the agreed checklist
• Ensure the quality plan is updated and adhered to
